Verena is CEO, Co-Founder and Chief Dream Officer at MATR, a circular economy mattress startup from Vienna. MATR rethinks mattresses and offers an innovative mattress solution for hotels ensuring premium sleep experiences for their guests while saving them time, money and CO2. With a business background, circular economy degree and experience in the innovation consulting and startup space, Verena drives the development of MATR’s circular product/service solution and ecosystem, and takes care of finances and strategy. She is a creative, purpose-driven and solution-oriented mind passionate about circular economy and social innovation.
