Curiosity led to surprising paths

MatchHat founder, Soraya Umewaka is an award winning filmmaker and theater director. One of her recent multi-media theater productions is called "Hell Says Noh", a collaboration with the Brazilian government at the Panasonic Center in Tokyo. It was not always easy for her to find key talent for her film and theater projects which was the inspiration for MatchHat which is a global web app that helps creators find collaborators for their creative projects. She worked at YouTube as a production strategist and oversaw the business operations. She had her first stage appearance at the age of three at the National Noh Theater.
