Ars Electronica, as you might know by now, stands as Austria's premier technology festival. Drawing inspiration from this year’s theme, “Who owns the truth?”, and the BOLD Community's focus on circular economy, attendees embarked on a journey to merge both pivotal themes.

Participants were organized into groups, each armed with a central question and a curated tour kit. This served as their compass while navigating select art installations and projects:

  • Ownership of nature: Who claims it?
  • Infrastructure: Who holds the reins?
  • Technology: Who's in control?
  • Data: Who's the custodian?
  • Knowledge: Who has the final say?

Post-tour, the BOLD community converged in intimate workshops, sharing reflections and insights. They further chronicled their experiences on Menti, an online presentation tool. The insights gleaned underscored the influence of our earlier art thinking session.

Rest assured, these valuable perspectives will soon be accessible to all!

As we bid farewell to the Ars Electronica Festival and the charming city of Linz, our journey continues towards Leogang—a scenic village cradled by the Austrian Alps.

But rest not! The three-hour ride promises to be anything but mundane. Up next, an on-the-go discourse on mobility and infrastructure. With a cohort of industry experts on board, we're primed for exciting discussions and BOLD revelations!
